Around midday we arrive in San Ignacio, where we will check in at our hotel. In the afternoon we visit the House of Horacio Quiroga and the San Ignacio Jesuit Ruins. In the evening we return to the ruins to enjoy the light and sound show.

We continue our journey into Brazilian territory. Along the way we will see yerba mate and tea plantations. We will also visit the Wanda Mines, where we will learn more about the extraction of semi-precious stones in the region. Accommodation in Foz do Iguaçu.

Today we visit Iguazú Falls from the Brazilian side, located in Foz do Iguaçu.. You will also have time for optional excursions such as visiting the Bird Park or taking a helicopter flight over the falls. Overnight stay in Foz do Iguaçu.

We return to Argentina to visit Iguazú Falls from the Argentine side and stay overnight in Puerto Iguazú.

After an early breakfast we continue traveling through the province of Misiones toward El Soberbio.. Along the route we will see yerba mate processing plants, tea plantations, tobacco drying facilities, citronella plantations, and numerous timber drying yards.

In the afternoon we visit Moconá Provincial Park and, if river conditions allow, enjoy a boat navigation through the Moconá Falls on the Uruguay River. The word Moconá in the Guaraní language roughly means “the one that swallows everything.” Along more than 3 kilometers, the waters fall longitudinally from a height of over 10 meters into the lower bed of the Uruguay River. Overnight stay in El Soberbio, on the banks of the Uruguay River.

After breakfast we say goodbye to this wonderful natural environment and head toward Santana do Livramento, on the border with Rivera. Overnight stay here.
