We depart from Montevideo to Belo Horizonte by plane, with a stopover in São Paulo. The capital of Minas Gerais awaits us—a modern city surrounded by a unique natural setting. We will stay there, where we’ll rest and get ready to begin our adventure.

Today we’ll tour the main attractions of Belo Horizonte. We’ll stroll through Praça da Liberdade, the Central Market, and the historic neighborhoods, discovering the culture, architecture, and outstanding local cuisine. Overnight in Belo Horizonte.

Today we delve into the nature and geology of Minas Gerais. We will visit the impressive Lapinha or Maquiné Caves, famous for their rock formations and natural history. During the excursion, our guide will share interesting facts about the local flora and fauna, making the visit an educational and fascinating experience. Accommodation in Belo Horizonte.

We moved towards Ouro Preto, one of Brazil’s most emblematic colonial cities. We’ll stroll through its historic center, admiring baroque churches like San Francisco de Asís and Santa Bárbara, its squares, and museums.

We’ll have the opportunity to visit local artisan workshops and, optionally, explore some historic mines that offer a glimpse into the region’s past. Accommodation in Ouro Preto or return to Belo Horizonte is possible, depending on availability.

Today we have a day of bus travel to Rio de Janeiro.During the trip, we will enjoy the changing landscape of Minas Gerais and the Brazilian coast. Arrival in Rio and check-in at the hotel. In the afternoon, we can take a short walk through the… Copacabana or Ipanema beaches to stretch your legs and feel the vibrant rhythm of the city.

Today we will learn about the icons of Rio de Janeiro: We’ll climb to the top of Christ the Redeemer, visit Sugarloaf Mountain, and explore historic neighborhoods and iconic beaches. Our guide will share the history and culture of this wonderful city while we enjoy panoramic views and the vibrant energy of Rio. Accommodation in Rio.

A free day to enjoy Rio de Janeiro at your own pace. You can relax on its beaches, explore museums like the Museum of Modern Art, visit the iconic Maracanã stadium, take a boat trip around the bay, or even visit a favela with a local guide.

We will travel to Angra dos Reis to explore this beautiful coastal region. There, we will visit the historic center and have time to enjoy its landscapes and beaches.

We will leave Angra dos Reis to embark on our journey to the paradisiacal Ilha Grande. Upon arrival on the island, we will have time for walks along some of its short trails, enjoy the sea, and relax on its peaceful beaches. Overnight stay in Ilha Grande.
We will have a free day to enjoy Ilha Grande to each person’s taste. The island has many trails to explore various beaches on foot which we can enjoy, we can also hire a boat tour where we visit hidden beaches with crystal clear water.
Leaving the island behind, we return to land to head towards Paraty, a picturesque Brazilian colonial town. We’ll stroll through its historic center, with cobblestone streets, colonial churches, and art workshops. Overnight in Paraty, with free time to enjoy the charm of this destination.
Full day to explore Paraty and its surroundings. We can take boat trips, visit nearby beaches, or discover waterfalls like Cachoeira do Tobogã. It’s a day to enjoy nature, history, and local cuisine. Overnight in Paraty.
We said goodbye to Paraty and traveled to São Paulo. From there, we took our flight back to Montevideo, concluding this wonderful adventure through Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro, and the Brazilian coast.
