Travel itinerary

We fly from Montevideo to Cape Town with a layover in Guarulhos. There are several connection options, which we will finalize once the trip is confirmed. Upon arrival, you will have one free night in Cape Town to explore the surrounding area and relax. *Option to spend two nights in Cape Town.

We left early from Cape Town towards Namaqualand, crossing a beautiful arid landscape, famous for its flora and historic copper mining, we arrived at Okiep, a town with a mining history dating back to the 19th century, and in the afternoon we took a short tour to explore the area and its historical remains.

We crossed into Namibia, arriving at the banks of the Orange River, the longest in South Africa. In the afternoon, we enjoyed free time by the river, contemplating its natural surroundings and the tranquility of its waters.

A day dedicated to canoeing on the Orange River, a relaxing experience to enjoy nature and local wildlife while we drift along with the river and the desert sun.

We ventured into Namibia to the Fish River Canyon, the largest in Africa and the second largest in the world, stretching over 160 km. Lunch at the lodge and a walk to the canyon’s main viewpoint, a truly spectacular geological wonder.

We travel through the Sperrgebiet, a protected area of ​​Namibia known for its unique biodiversity and the wild Namib horses. In the afternoon we explored Kolmanskop, the desert ghost town, famous for its abandoned buildings covered in sand.

We advance towards the heart of the Namib Desert and Sossusvlei, known for its red dunes up to 400 meters high and salt and clay landscapes. We visited Sesriem Canyon and we prepared to explore the dunes at dawn the next day.

Early in the morning we ventured into the park to enjoy Dune 45, Dead Vlei and Sossusvlei, contemplating the morning light on the dunes. The more adventurous can climb to the Big Daddy dune, one of the tallest in the area.

Arrival in Swakopmund, a coastal city with German colonial architecture. In route we visited the Welwitchia Plains and the Lunar Landscape, unique formations of the Namib Desert, and in the afternoon we explored the city and its coastal atmosphere.

Stop at Cape Cross to see the seal colony and then arrival in Spitzkoppe, a collection of granite peaks over 120 million years old. Breathtaking landscapes between the desert and these rock formations.

Exploration of the area, including the granite arch and Bushman rock art, appreciating the unique geology and cultural history of the area.

We set off for Etosha, one of Namibia’s premier wildlife sanctuaries, home to elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras and many other species in its vast landscape of salt flats and savanna.

Full-day safari within the park, with opportunities to observe and photograph the abundant African wildlife in its natural habitat.

We travel through the park until we reach Tsumeb, stopping at private reserves and enjoying the diversity of birds and animals that inhabit the area.

Travel north through Namibia to the Okavango River. In the afternoon, enjoy a sunset cruise on the river, taking in the scenery and aquatic wildlife of the area.

We followed the course of the Okavango River to Maun, the gateway to the Delta, surrounded by savanna and wetland landscapes.

Explore the delta in mokoros (traditional canoes), navigating between channels and observing elephants, hippos, crocodiles and birds, while learning about the unique ecology of the delta.
