It will be a 14-day journey in which we will explore the diversity of Colombia from Bogotá to Cartagena, passing through the green landscapes of the Coffee Region and the creative energy of Medellín. Between history, the aroma of coffee, and golden beaches, we will experience the warmth of its people and the perfect blend of tradition, modernity, and nature that makes Colombia such an authentic and unforgettable destination.

Travel itinerary
We will depart from Montevideo to arrive at our first destination: Bogotá. We will transfer to the hotel for check-in. Free afternoon to explore the surroundings. We will stay here for two nights.
In the morning, we will leave the hotel for a guided tour through Bogotá’s historic center,exploring La Candelaria, Plaza Bolívar, and its most emblematic monuments. We will visit the fascinating Gold Museum and finish the experience by taking the cable car (or funicular) up to Monserrate Hill,where we will enjoy unbeatable views of the city. Free afternoon.
At the scheduled time, we will leave the hotel and head to the airport to take our flight to Pereira. Upon arrival, we will transfer to the hotel to settle in and rest, beginning our experience in the heart of the Coffee Region. We will stay here for three nights.
After breakfast, we will depart from the hotel to enjoy a coffee-farm experience on a local finca,where we will dress as traditional arrieros and chapoleras, walk through coffee plantations, harvest beans, and take part in the “coffee ritual.” A full immersion into coffee culture, crowned with a delicious cup of authentic Colombian coffee. We will return to the hotel in the afternoon.
Early in the morning, we will head to Salento, from where we will continue by jeep to the Cocora Valleyo discover the towering wax palm, Colombia’s national tree, surrounded by breathtaking Andean scenery. We will enjoy a traditional lunch of trout and patacón, and visit Salento’s historic center, famous for its colorful balconies, history, and the magical Palm Forest.
We will say goodbye to the Coffee Region and begin our overland journey to Medellín.Upon arrival, shortly after midday, we will check in at the hotel and enjoy the rest of the afternoon free to rest or start discovering the city at our own pace. We will stay in Medellín for four nights.
In the morning, we will leave the hotel for a panoramic bus tour that includes stops in iconic parks such as Barefoot Park, Sculpture Park, and Wishes Park, as well as a scenic ride on the metrocable. We will visit Pueblito Paisa on Nutibara Hill, tour the modern financial district, and after a lunch break, explore the transformed Comuna 13 with its impressive street art.
We will dedicate this day to visiting Guatapé and the stunning El Peñol Rock, with free time for those who wish to climb its 740 steps and admire the reservoir below.. After a traditional lunch, we will enjoy a 40-minute “party boat” ride on the reservoir. We will finish with a walking tour of Guatapé and free time to explore.
Full free day to explore Medellín at your own pace, rest, or discover new corners of the city independently.
Around midday, we will say farewell to Medellín and transfer to the airport to take our flight to Cartagena.After landing, we will transfer to the hotel, check in, and begin enjoying the city. This will be our final destination, where we will stay for four nights.
We will have a free morning. In the afternoon, we will visit the impressive San Felipe de Barajas Fortress,exploring its history, tunnels, and defenses. Then, we will head to La Popa Hill to visit its convent and enjoy panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea and the bays.
We will begin early with a full-day tour.
We will meet at the assigned meeting point () to start the excursion, which includes a visit to the Aves con Encanto bird sanctuary,where we will observe various tropical species. We will then navigate to Isla del Encanto to enjoy paradisiacal beaches, a buffet lunch, and a welcome cocktail.. Free time will be available to relax on the island and enjoy its exclusive facilities. Total excursion duration: 8.5 hours.

Free day to rest, explore Cartagena at our own rhythm, or discover additional attractions independently.
Leaving Cartagena behind, we will transfer from the hotel to the airport to take our first flight to Bogotá, where we will connect with our final flight to Montevideo.. Arrival in the early morning according to flight itinerary.
