Travel itinerary

We begin our adventure in the morning from Montevideo (Carrasco Airport), with a stopover in Buenos Aires, heading to Ushuaia. We’ll arrive in the afternoon to check into our hotel and enjoy the rest of the day.

In the morning, we will travel to the port to sail through the Beagle Channel and reach the iconic Lighthouse at the End of the World. After lunch, we will visit Tierra del Fuego National Park. We will have the afternoon to enjoy activities in the surrounding area and the city. We will once again stay in Ushuaia.

We’ll have this day free to explore, visit museums, La Carcel, go shopping, or take an excursion of your choice (museum visits, ranch trips, a Fuegian Lakes tour, among others). We’ll stay in Ushuaia.

Free morning to continue exploring the city. In the afternoon, we’ll head to the airport for a flight to El Calafate, where we’ll stay.
Tour to the Perito Moreno Glacier, a natural monument of imposing ice walls, with a surface area of 275 km² and a length of 30 km. This world-dazzling blue mass is surrounded by mountains and forests, located in the far south, opposite the Magellan Peninsula. In addition to enjoying the trails that allow us to appreciate this immensity, we sail for 30 minutes through the iceberg channel, returning to El Calafate where we will stay again.
Today we will take a full-day tour to El Chaltén, a city known as the trekking capital. There we will have the opportunity to take part in various hikes, including a 16-km guided one-way descent along a trail where we can admire the Piedras Blancas Glacier and the imposing Fitz Roy. After enjoying a day in this city, we will return to El Calafate to spend our last night there.
A day for optional activities in El Calafate and the surrounding area, such as a 4×4 ride to Alto Calafate, a boat trip to visit Los Glaciares Park again, birdwatching on the lake shore, visiting the caves, strolling along the promenade, or walking through the city center.
Optional: We’ll have an early breakfast and head to Torres del Paine National Park, declared a World Biosphere Reserve in 1978, with a legal area of 181,414 hectares. Enjoy a full-day hike through the park’s circuits to admire these marvelous natural monuments, which rise to over 2,800 meters in altitude.
We say goodbye to Patagonia to return to Montevideo.
